Berberine - 2021

Berberine

Berberine has many science-based health benefits. You will be amazed when you read about Berberine benefits.

Berberine, also known as the Ayurvedic Miracle Plant, berberine has been traditionally used as medicine for centuries by the Indians and Chinese. In recent years, due to the increasing trend towards Natural Botany Solutions, Western societies have only been made aware of its impressive medicinal benefits.

Berberine and obatoclax inhibit coronavirus

Berberine and obatoclax inhibit SARS-CoV-2 replication in primary human nasal epithelial cells in vitro

Severe acute respiratory syndrome associated with coronavirus (SARSCoV2) infected an estimated 10% of the global population in late 2019. There is a great need for effective antiviral drugs to complement preventive measures, including vaccines.

A recent study investigated the efficacy of two broad-spectrum antiviral compounds, berberine and obatoclax, against multiple isolates of SARS-CoV-2. Berberine inhibited SARS-CoV-2 at low micromolar concentrations, and obatoclax, originally developed as an anti-apoptotic protein antagonist, was effective at submicromolar concentrations. Berberine is effective in the last phase of the viral life cycle. Berberine slightly affected viral RNA synthesis, but greatly reduced infectious viral titers, leading to an increase in particle-to-pfu ratio. In contrast, obatoclax acted in the early stage of infection through its activity to neutralize the acidic environment in endosomes.

When evaluating the infection of primary human nasal epithelial cells, it was found that SARS-CoV-2 infection induced and suppressed the expression of a particular set of cytokines and chemokines. Also, both obatoclax and berberine inhibited SARS-CoV-2 replication in these primary target cells. Berberine and obatoclax have been suggested by researchers as potential antiviral drugs that may be considered for further efficacy testing against SARS-CoV-2 (1).

Covid-19 or covid-20 or coronavirus, whatever you call it, is on focus.

But still, many people suffer from diabetes, right?

So, keep reading  ↓

Berberine's anti-hyperglycemic potential has been confirmed by multiple human studies. This highlights the ability of Berberine to support blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The growing number of research papers published in various prestigious journals evaluated and confirmed the anti-diabetic potential of Berberine (23).

Berberine Can Stabilize Your Blood Sugar by 5 Specific Ways

Berberine has been prized for centuries for its healing properties. Now, this potent herb is naturally balancing blood sugar levels by helping your body:

1. Berberine decreases insulin resistance, making the blood sugar-lowering hormone ‘insulin’ more effective

Berberine may activate the ‘metabolic master switch’: An energy-stabilizing enzyme found inside cells, AMPK (adenosine monophosphate kinase), is known as a ‘metabolic master switch’ due to its positive influence on metabolism. It’s believed that this helps improve insulin sensitivity at the cellular level.

2. Berberine decreases sugar production in the liver

Berberine helps slow the sugar factory: According to studies, berberine may stimulate glycolysis, the metabolic pathway by which sugar is broken down and converted to energy, and may inhibit gluconeogenesis, the creation of glucose. In effect, these activities decrease insulin sensitivity and help to balance blood sugar levels.

3. Berberine slows the breakdown of carbohydrates

Berberine supports the liver: Plant compounds are thought to help improve insulin sensitivity in the liver by reducing its production of glucose. Additionally, berberine is thought to boost thermogenesis. These activities help suppress the liver’s tendency to make new glucose when liver cells become insulin resistant.

4. Berberine increases the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut.

Berberine is really great! Several studies have shown that berberine may modulate the gut microbiota through enriching short-chain fatty acid (SCFA)-producing bacteria and reducing microbial diversity. This, in turn, inhibits dietary polysaccharide degradation and decreases caloric intake in the gut, which may improve energy metabolism and intestinal health; anti-inflammatory effects; and immune regulatory effects.

5. Berberine removes deep body fat that accumulates around the belly and organs

Berberine is amazing! There’s a strong correlation between blood sugar and weight loss. Research on berberine for weight loss and fat-burning activity is limited but promising. In one 12-week study, subjects lost about 2.3% body weight — or 5 pounds — and lowered BMI and body fat percentage by 3.6% with a dosage of 3,500 mg per day. Another 3-month study revealed a drop in BMI, from 31.5 to 27.4, in obese individuals, as well as a reduction in waist circumference.

That's not all ...

benefits-of-berberine

Berberine diminishes a type of cancer cell (PD-L1) expression and facilitates antitumor immunity

Berberine is a proven anti-inflammation drug, as a negative regulator of cancer cell (PD-L1) from a set of traditional medicine chemical monomers. Berberine enhanced the sensitivity of tumor cells to co-cultured T-cells by decreasing the level of cancer cells (PD-L1). In addition, berberine exerted its antitumor effect in Lewis tumor xenograft mice. BBR triggered cancer cell (PD-L1) degradation.

Remarkably, BBR was selectively bound to the glutamic acid (CSN5) and inhibited the PD-1/PD-L1 axis through its deubiquitination activity, resulting in degradation of cancer cells (PD-L1).

This data reveals a previously unrecognized antitumor mechanism of berberine and suggests berberine is a small-molecule immune checkpoint inhibitor for cancer treatment (4).

But there is a catch!

To use Berberine to heal without side effects, the Beberine needs to pass 2 TESTS:

and keep reading to find the answer for:

"how much berberine should I take"

Test #1

Now, it's a known fact that for Berberine to have its best effects, the recommended daily dosage is around 1500mg.

"how much berberine per day"

The problem is Berberine is very potent stuff and consuming 1500mg in a single dosage can cause stomach discomfort, cramps, and even have you running to the bathroom every 15 minutes.

Many studies have shown you should take Berberine 500mg, three times daily, to reach the correct recommended dosage. Using separate doses improves absorption but more importantly, helps you avoid side effects like stomach cramps and nausea that arise from a concentrated 1500mg dose.

So it had to be in a capsule form: at 500mg per dose.

So we had to use Berberine sourced organically from the tree bark of Phellodendron Amurense, sterilize them after harvesting, and extract the Berberine into 500mg dose, capsule form.

Test #2

One extra ingredient was added to amplify Berberine’s results.

A little-known flowering herb, Milk Thistle, belongs to the daisy and ragweed family. It’s often called the Holy Thistle because it has a long history of treating liver problems, lowering cholesterol, lowering inflammation.

But the real benefit is in the fact that Milk Thistle’s main active ingredient is Silymarin and once combined with Berberine, was shown in one study to increase the bioavailability of berberine in the intestines and to raise its concentration in the blood and for longer periods.

FAQ

1) When can I expect results with Berberine?

Everyone’s body is unique so individual results may vary. While some customers started seeing early results in as early as 2 weeks, it typically takes up to 4 to 12 weeks for Berberine to kickstart glycolysis and the lowering of blood sugar levels.

This is why we recommend trying Berberine for 3 months to enjoy the benefits.

However, within the first few consumptions, most customers tend to experience:

Greater energy

Reduction in weight

Less inflammatory pain in places like joints

"berberine side effects"

2) Does Berberine have any side effects?

Berberine is not known to have any major side effects.

Berberine is made using high-quality, natural ingredients, and has been tested safe for consumption. It was formulated to be stimulant-free, which makes it ideal for long-term consumption.

3) Does Berberine contain gluten, soy, peanuts, shellfish, or any other allergens?

No. Berberine does not contain any of these mentioned ingredients or allergens. Because of that, it fits into most diets like vegan, keto, paleo, and kosher.

4) Can I take Berberine with metformin?

Berberine is a dietary supplement and can be taken on top of metformin, a first-line drug therapy.

5) How does Berberine help regular blood sugar?

Berberine works to activate the enzyme AMPK - which is known as the Master Metabolic Switch. Once this switch is turned on, the body starts burning sugar for energy. As sugar is burned for energy, no longer does it bind to your cells - resulting in the natural reduction of blood sugar levels.

6) I’m pre-diabetic. Can I take Berberine to manage my blood sugar?

Yes, many of our customers who are pre-diabetic are using Berberine as a first-line defense to regular blood sugar with great success.

7) Will Berberine work for me if I’m not dieting or working out?

Yes, several of our customers who suffered joint pain or didn’t have time to work out were able to lower their blood sugar levels and blood glucose with Berberine.
